Chapter 10 · 10.3
Credit balance and topping up credit
Credit balance is credit on your account with WebOké. It is created, for example, if you have overpaid, with a credit note, or if you cancel a service early. You can also top up your account with money in advance yourself. You can then use that credit to pay invoices with one click.
Viewing your balance
Go to My Invoices and choose the Credit balance tab. On the left, you'll see your current balance. At the bottom, under What happened with your balance, you'll find every change: what was added, what was offset against which invoice, and what your balance was afterwards.

For a new order, we automatically offset your credit against the invoice. You can pay an invoice that is already outstanding with your credit via Pay now: choose Pay with your credit balance on the payment screen. If your balance is lower than the amount, the balance is offset and you pay the rest using another method.
Adding credit
- Enter the amount under Add credit (1). The page shows the minimum and maximum amount.
- If you have outstanding invoices, you'll see a checkbox to use your credit for those invoices straight after payment. Leave it ticked if you want to pay them off immediately.
- Click Add and pay (2).
- You'll be taken to the payment screen. Choose a method and complete the payment.

We don't create an invoice for credit. As soon as we've received your payment, we add the amount to your account and you'll receive a confirmation by email. On the payment screen for credit, you'll only see online methods without a surcharge.
Tip: there's no VAT on credit. The VAT appears on the invoices you pay with the credit. This way, your bookkeeping stays accurate.
